As a skilled political and parliamentary reporter, researcher and RTPI-accredited town planning consultant, I offer a unique blend of expertise to clients in both the political arena and the built environment. Based in Fife, Scotland , I am proud of my local roots while serving clients across Scotland and the wider UK.

Graduating from Dundee University with distinction and receiving the Best Student Award in Spatial Planning and Sustainable Urban Design laid the foundation for my career. I spent a number of years working for a leading planning and economic planning consultancy, during which I earned my full Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) membership and collaborated with renowned clients such as Marks & Spencer, Intu, Bourne Leisure, Homes for Scotland, and several leading housebuilders. I also played a key role in executing multiple research projects focused on topics such as housing land, ageing populations, and rural diversification.

After having children, I transitioned to freelance consultancy, maintaining a strong commitment to planning, whilst also expanding my focus into political and parliamentary affairs. Today, I combine both disciplines, working as a and indepndent planning consultant, providing insightful analysis that bridges urban development, public policy and strategic decision-making.
